A downloadable game

ABENDROT (Dawn) — is a surreal text-based quest in the horror genre and Point-and-click style. The game tells about the typewriter driver Johann Briswald and his life in a state where a coup recently took place.

All locations and textures in the game are hand-made drawings made by me, that is, drawn in reality, and then digitized and processed. Somewhat chaotic and disorderly drawing reflects the perception of the world by the main character.

The game is inspired by such creations as:

• Bag of milk outside a bag of milk outside a bag of milk

• The Darkest Woods Dilogy

• Garage : Bad Dream Adventure

• Happy Game

• Bad Dream series

• Rusty Lake series

• Beholder

As well as the work of Andre Breton and famous Dystopias (Nineteen Eighty-four and a Mechanical Piano, for example).

A certain role in the creation of the game was also played by the novel "American Psycho" and its film adaptation of the same name.

Many songs from the game were created and owned by the "Grazhdanskaya Oborona" ("Civil Defence", in English) Punk-Rock Group and its leader Egor Letov (he deceased in 2008, Rest in Peace, Egor)

I just created Distortion Demakes based on them, which specifically sound repulsive and disgusting in order to convey the setting of the game.
